Pav Bhaji

Ingredients: 


Mixed vegetables
(Carrot, beans, cabbage
cauliflower, bottle gourd,
peas etc.)                                -  3 cups
Potatoes                                 -  3 nos
Onions                                   -  2 nos
Tomatoes                               -  3 nos
Ginger garlic paste                  -  1 table spoon
Turmeric powder                    -  1 tea spoon
Cooking oil                             -  2 table spoons
Pav (Bun)                               -  6 - 8 nos
Salt to taste


for Pav bhaji masala:


Coriander seeds                      -  1 table spoon
Pepper                                    -  1 tea spoon
Cinnamon stick                        -  1 inch long
Jeera                                       -  1 tea spoon
Clove                                      -  4 - 5 nos
Red chillies                              -  4 - 5 nos


1.  Take 1/2 table spoon of ghee in a kadai and fry the masala ingredients and grind it to a powder.
2.  Cook the potatoes, peel and mash.
3.  Finely chop the mixed vegetables and cook them till soft and mash them too.
4.  Heat oil in a kadai and add the finely chopped onions.
5.  Once they turn golden brown add the ginger garlic paste, salt and turmeric powder and cook till the oil splits.
6.  Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till tomatoes turn soft and sauce like.
7.  Add the mashed vegetables, potatoes and the masala powder.
8.  Let it boil for 4 - 5 mins and if necessary add water.
9.  Heat a tava add a spoon of ghee and place the pav and once they turn brown serve with the bhaji.
10.Pav bhaji ready.
